Introducing Teams and Clash Pass

Closet Clash 1.1.0 is rolling out now on the App Store and Google Play. This update is built around a simple idea: Closet Clash is more fun with friends. The brand new Teams tab lets you team up with friends, style a new challenge every day, and compete alongside each other for the biggest rewards in the game.

How Teams Work

To get started, open the Teams tab and choose to either join an open team or create your own and invite your friends. Don't have a group yet? Open teams are a great way to meet other players and find your people. A team must have at least 3 members to begin competing and can grow to a maximum of 15 members total.

Every day at 1pm ET, a new team challenge opens. Each teammate submits their own outfit to the challenge and then your team is paired against another team. Once the submission period ends, the entire community votes on the outcome and you'll earn points and gems based on the results.

Along the way, you can chat with your team, share outfit drafts, run polls, remix each other's outfits, and even borrow unlocked items from a teammate's closet. Whether you're swapping ideas before a deadline or celebrating a win together, your team has its own space to do it.

Seasons

Daily wins add up. Every week, teams are ranked and earn gems based on where they finish, and those weekly results build toward the season standings. At the end of each four-week season, you'll reveal your team's tier (Crown, Gold, Silver, or Bronze), earn season bonuses, and add a permanent badge to your team's profile.

Clash Pass

Alongside Teams, we're also excited to introduce Clash Pass, a monthly subscription that unlocks unlimited access to Team Matchups. The community that's been with us from the start made all of this possible, so we want to say thank you: if you're one of the first 250 players to enter 14 Team Matchups, you'll earn Clash Pass free for life.

Once all 250 spots are filled, free users will be able to enter 2 Team Matchups per week, and Clash Pass subscribers will be able to enter unlimited Team Matchups. Either way, everyone can join a team, chat, and be part of the season.
